About

I have a passion for construction innovation and I work as a consultant for Lean Construction and BIM. My journey began in 2004, when I joined a research team led by Prop. Raphael Sacks at the Technion, Israel technology institute. I was involved in developing and teaching the first BIM course at the Technion since 2006. Now, I'm advising several general contractors, construction management firms and constuction tech startups.

In 2011, I became part of Tidhar and created its BIM department and applied Lean methodologies at the company work face. I implemented the Last Planner ™ system in all of Tidhar's projects and coached the workface to develop a culture of constant improvement. I also led the company's Lean Boot-camps, several VSM in different departments and many other improvement teams.

I also set up Tidhar's BIM operation, starting from the organizational infrastructures, training both the company employees and business partners and eventually implementing BIM technologies and processes in various departments (Design, sales, customer services, budget and more)

In the recent years, with the emergence of ‘Construction Tech’, I was consulting many start-ups, helping them to better understand the industry and ensuring their product will solve actual industry pains.

I am honored to be a co-author of a new book on Lean and BIM implementation in construction, "Building Lean, Building BIM: Changing Construction the Tidhar Way".
